Growth and feed efficiency of Dorper lambs has been studied with the aid of ewes, rams and wethers. The study ranged from 13 weeks to 39 weeks of age. All the lambs were handreared on a milk substitute administered on an ad libitum basis. The lambs had free access to a pelleted diet from 2 weeks of age till the end of the experiment. The diet had a ME content of 10,19 ± 0,442 MJ/kg and a crude protein content of 19,6  ± 0,66%. Results are discussed.
