ABSTRACT

Changes in progesterone concentration in the peripheral plasma of cycling Angora goats were determined by radioimmunoassay. Circulating progesterone was relatively low (0,4 ng/ml,) at oestrus (Day 0) and increased progressively to 6,7 ng/ml, by Day 13. This high level was maintained until Day-3 of the succeeding oestrous cycle, when it decreased abruptly.
