Mr Themba Penwell Cebani is the new Principal at Grootfontein College of Agriculture (GADI) as from 1 December 2016.


Mr Cebani was born 15 May 1975 in King Williams Town, is married and has 3 children, of which the eldest is currently a student at Fort Cox.

He achieved his Senior Certificate (Grade 12) in 1996 at Matsa High School, King Williams Town, Eastern Cape. In 2000 he achieved a Bachelor of Agriculture from University of Fort Hare; 2005 his B. Inst. Agrar (Hons): Agribusiness Management from University of Pretoria and in 2015 his MBA from Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA).

In March 2005 he became a Lecturer & HOD at Fort Cox College of Agriculture & Forestry; Oct 2010 the Manager Rural Development Center /FET at Fort Cox College of Agriculture & Forestry; March 2014 he Acted as Principal at Fort Cox College of Agriculture & Forestry and Sept 2014 he became the Programme Manager Rural Development at Amathole Economic Development Agency.

GADI welcomes Mr Cebani at Grootfontein and hope he will enjoy his stay here in Middelburg. Together we will build Grootfontein to be the Centre of Excellence in the Southern Hemisphere!
